YES!!!! I've done it. I am the CEO of the number one Network Security company in the US. I am on call when need to be and have nothing but the cream of the crop working for me. I do most of my work from home. With the click of a button I can have a teleconference with anyone anywhere in the world. Everyone has their own office with body sensing temperature and mood settings. We have a TGIFridays and an Olive Garden in the building along with Dave and Busters, and our own Jamaican Chef. Yeah Mon!! It Nice!! It Nice!!
My dream job is to be in the Information Technology field. I would love to be in an office or out in the field helping others get the job done. I see myself as a person that likes to help others and I hope that the people I work with are the same way. When I get my Bachelors in Information Systems I will be able to get a job in this field and hopefully excel so I can afford that dream house on the lake with a nice boat and my wife and kids.
My dream job is being a web designer/developer. Right now, my dream is aimed more toward freelancing so that I can work from home. I really enjoy being at home with my children, but that isn't quite enough for me, so I like the freedom that being a freelancer can provide me to stay at home with them while still keeping busy on the side.
Eventually, when my children are a bit older, I would like to start my own web design firm and employ parents who are looking for a more family-friendly career option than is available with a lot of jobs. Although my business would be a for-profit (of course) I would like to have a service dedicated to military members and their family where they could get a very low-cost customized website or blog layout to enable them to keep family and friends updated from wherever they are stationed in the world. It is really important to me to have a job that works to support families and community ties while also allowing me to participate in a field that I truly enjoy.
If i were to going to describe two dream jobs of mine, The first one would be owning my own charter company. i would take people out fishing and get paid big bucks to do so but it would be in many different locations, tropical hot spots up and down the east coast. My second dream job, im going to say would probably just be not having a job. having the money so that i wouldnt half to work and do what i wanted when i wanted enjoying life like your saposed to. MIK!
Hi everyone this is Jazz, I don’t really have a dream job, but I know what my goals are. Right now my mother has her own fitness center for overwight children called “GET FIT”; eventually this company will be mine. The business skills that I learn from ECPI will help me run the company efficiently. In the meantime I probably will end up working for someone while I persue my degree. I would like to have a job doing something that I enjoy, like helping people. My personality is not cut out for the uptight structured environment; for this reason I feel my place is in the community and not the corporate world.
My dream job begins with a very high salary, say around 300,000 dollars a year just to make it realistic with a job title like Director of Biomedical Operations. I would like to have this position in sports rehab facility located in or around my hometown of Spartanburg, South Carolina. This position covers all the aspects that I would want in a job. The first and most important is salary because no matter what anyone says if you are not satisfied with your salary you are never going to be happy with your job. Next is the location, because I defiantly want to end up back in my hometown close to my family; besides you can’t beat southern hospitality. I’ve always wanted to have an occupation that is associated with sports and in the biomedical field so a sports rehab facility is probably the closest that I could get. Lastly I think it would be very satisfying and rewarding to help with the healing process of patients. Even though there is no direct interaction with them, I would be coordinating the calibration and repair of equipment that would play a vital role in helping these patients recover.
Well lets see, describing a dream job, this is something I have not often though of. I guess I would have to start with the loctaion, which would be where the the climate is on a average level, not to hot and not to cold. Somewhere interesting that I have not been before. I would like to be able to of course make my own schedule and pay benefits. But then again who wouldn’t. The job itself wouldn’t have to be laid back at all, I don’t mind getting my hands dirty every now and again. I think it would be be great however to work at the FBI or CIA defending the computers networks from hackers and outsiders. Not to sure why this is something for me, but I think it has something to do with the fact that I like hands on type of work and I have the military frame of mind.
My dream job is in Network Security. I will start out working as government contractor for a few years just to get my feet wet. Then, I will ease my way out of there and start working on some personal at home projects because it seems like gas isn't going down anytime soon. Why leave home and deal with traffic when you don't have to? If that doesn't work out maybe J will give me a job because I don't have those kind of benefits where I work now.
Well as I think of this, I know that the best way to describe it is working with computers. I’ve been a natural with them since I was a kid. Though I’d be happy with just fixing broken computers, or at least troubleshooting them. I doubt it would pay all the bills or money would be tight the first couple of years. While with Networking type jobs money is usually better, same with Network Security.
Another thing bout dream job or should I say Dream Career is that when you look for a job in an area is that there are plenty of jobs, and that the companies compete to get you. Unlike in my last career of biomedical repair there are so few jobs in the country and you usually have to move to another area. Where as with say Networking jobs there’s usually multiple jobs in any area
I would love someday maybe around my late 40s, early 50s to own a shop down at the beach maybe not here but definitely by the beach. For now though or after I graduate, I would like to work in Philadelphia with my pops, I will take over the head of their I.T. department. My dad runs a company in Philly called the Rothman Institute and that’s the company I would most like to work at once I’ve graduated. I know its not at the beach but the money will be good and I can't wait for some sort of change!
After I graduate I hope to move to Savannah, GA and get a job as a web developer. I like to both design websites and also maintain the behind the scenes features. Ultimately, my dream job would be working for myself through an online business. I first started selling goods online through eBay and eventually opened my own eBay store. It brings in good side money, but because of the logistics of eBay, it was kind of hard to depend on that money. For a career, I would like to have a similar job of selling good and services online, but through my own website instead of eBay’s. Working for me doesn’t mean I’m free to come and go as I like though! It takes a lot of time, patience and work to get a good work flow and understand the key components of selling online for a profit. Once I find the products that I want to sell for a living my training here will allow me to build an integrated web site where consumers can come and shop with ease. It will be my job to maintain the site and expand its customer base with marketing and PR work, while other employees fill orders and tend to Customer Support.
In the world of today there are many high paying jobs across the country. Many of these businesses are giving away big pay for office work and sales work in there respective fields but questions come to mind if they are actually life is better than those in lower paying careers. Just because someone is making over a $100,000 salary doesn’t mean they are in happily ever after state of mind doing there day to day duties. People bring a lot to the table working 12 to 16 or more hours in high executive positions to keep there companies vision going in the right direction. But what makes them different is there love for what they do.
My vision of the perfect dream job is succeeding at whatever I am doing at any moment with full creative control of my decisions. I feel for me that life is ultimate job in itself. I do not currently believe that anything plays out in a dream situation from beginning to end. But I do believe we have moments which make us feel that way by the rush of accomplishing something great or doing a good service to someone else. I believe that my dream job is simply life in itself and knowing I can succeed in all things that I put my mind to.
My dream job would be in the Networking & Security Management field, it would allow me to travel to different parts of the world, (not that I don't do that in the Navy anyway), only in this case I'll be flying business class, maybe with my family along for vacation. I would work with companies from all over the world. It would also allow me to do the things that I want, like take that dream vacation with the family, or buy that umty-thousand-doller BMW. I really want the freedom to do my own thing, perhaps own my own Networking & Security firm, or at least being in a management position, where I call the shots.
Hello, My dream job would be working for the FBI. I have always wanted to work with the FBI since I was in highschool. I guess the excitement and all. Right now I am in the Navy and this is just a stepping stone to reach my dream job. I have always been told to have an ultimate goal and have many small goals that will lead you to your final goal. It helps me beacuse I know that it will take time to get to that level and I would feel as if I failed. Anyways at the moment any job working in Network Security would be great for when I get out. Well talk to ya soon! Amanda
My dream job would enable me to make my own hours. To take a vacation when needed put my family first. It will also enable me to enjoy life and live comfortably.
